These are some of my Bat-Toys. I'll try to keep adding until all the cool ones are posted and as I add new ones.

I finally took some decent pics of this display shelf. I have the 12"
Deluxe Batman in the back, with the new Mattel figures across the front left and
the DC Direct Silver Age figures on the right. The left picture frame is a scan
from a newer Batman comic book and the frame on the right is a scan of the cover
of Batman #9

Here are some more figures. First is the new Mattel 12" Deluxe figure.
Basically it is the same as the smaller figures except for the size. It does
have some cool features though. The base has a place for all the Bat-gadgets and
has a small silhouette of the specific gadget for that post. Also there is a
retractable rope in Batman's side and the front pouches fold down to see the
mini Bat-Computer inside. The next figure is the Batgirl Barbie or PuppyGirl as
she has been called because the ears droop pretty badly unless you mess with
them for awhile. This figure is OK, the body has the typical lack of
articulation of all Barbie's and the velcro came off the belt the third time it
was taken loose. The stand is really nice and the cowl is pretty good. Basically
for $15 it's not bad, but if I had paid more I'd be pretty mad.
COMING SOON!!!!!!!
The 1966 Barris Batmobile from Hot Wheels. Estimated release is Feb 2007.
I'll have pics on page 2 as soon as I get one.

These are the new Hot Wheels Batmobiles. The first is obviously from the 1989
movie and the other is based on the new larger scale Mattel car for their new
figures. These are pretty cool especially since Hot Wheels run less than a
dollar each.

Here are some shots of all my 1/64 scale Batmobile related cars together. The
white car is the Lincoln Futura that was used by George Barris to make the TV
Batmobile, which is represented by a Husky Batmobile. And the other 2 are the
ones from above.

When I was a really small kid (about 6-7 yrs old), my favorite toy was the
Batman helmet that my mother found for me at a garage sale. People thought it
was stuck on my head because they never saw me without it. Unfortunately a week
or so before we moved some goober stole it and as we were leaving the
neighborhood to move, I saw it in the local hoodlums yard, they had painted it
red. Needless to say I was heart broken but I survived. Now more than 30 years
later I was able to relive the fun of my youth once again through E-bay. I had
to watch many auctions go way above my price range before I was finally able to
score this helmet for $30. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I have my favorite toy
back.

This is probably my favorite set of figures EVER! This is of course the new
DC direct Silver Age Batman & Robin set. The sculpting and finish on these
figures is great and the base is actually half of a base. The other half comes
with the Batgirl/Joker set. These have been
running about $40 a set but I found mine at Buy
Me toys for $29.99. My friend Clayton and I have been doing a lot of
business with them lately and they have given us GREAT service and the best
prices we've seen so far.

Here are some new figures. The Batgirl is the new DC Direct figure, it comes
with a Joker, but it's similar to the one below, also the Mattel Batman,
Superman 2 Pack is out as you can see. It's OK, the Batman is blue, but his belt
is kinda weird, but the buckle does come off and become a sort of Batarang. The
last 2 shots are the new Batgirl with the Silver Age Batman & Robin and also
with the modern Mattel's. I think she really fits with both.

Well, the new Batman figures from Mattel have hit the stores. So
far I have Batman, Robin and Joker and will probably get some of the others when
I find them. I really like the sculpting on these figures, the detail is GREAT,
Batman even has a bat symbol carved on his boot soles. I am however disappointed
in the lack of articulation in the elbows and ankles. I hate to say it but the
Marvel Legends line of figures is the best articulated figures I've ever seen
and if Mattel could try to do the same these figures would be the best on the
market.

One good thing is that the figures are pretty much in scale with the DC
Direct figures. I have mine displayed where the figures from the different ages
are posed the same so you can get a cool contrast between the costumes and
styles. I'll try to get a good pic of my display shelf sometime so you can see
what I mean.

These are my Batmobiles. The two on the left are Corgi's and the two on the
right are the new Johnny Lightning 50's & 60's models. I plan to restore and
customize the larger Corgi and may pinstripe the 60's JL car. I'll post whatever
ends up happening.

My friend Clayton is a great painter and he volunteered to paint these
figures to go in my Batmobile. Actually these are the figures from the plastic
model, but I have them in the die-cast one. The fourth picture I added a
background real quick in Photoshop just for fun.

Another E-bay find, this is a 60's Irwin Batcycle. I have never seen another
one but was told by someone on the 66Batmobile
message board that they have a couple of them. Mine is not in the greatest
condition, the left handlebar is gone and there is a hole worn in the left
muffler. My favorite thing about it is that it is based on a late 50's to early
60's British motorcycle. As near as I can tell it is possibly an Ariel
Huntmaster or possibly a Triumph.

Here is a comparison of the Old Corgi/Husky Batmobile and the new Johnny
Lightning Futura. As you can see Corgi did a decent job way back then, the front
end is pretty short but otherwise the proportions are pretty close. I've seen
pictures where some one has already converted on of these Futura's into a
Batmobile and it looked great. These cars are pretty scarce right now but can be
found at Wal-Mart, Targets, Hobby Lobby, etc. I found three that way,
just be patient and dig deep through the piles of stuff.

These are screen shots of a car I painted to use in a Nascar 2002 racing game. It
is based on the 66 Batmobile obviously. I had fun making it and driving it
online and thought you might get a kick out of it. I was really cool to have a
bunch of Batman clones for a pit crew. Look closely at the driver too.

Here's some neat finds, the first is a Tech Deck Dude named Adam (I'm not
kidding). The figures are supposed to be fingers to play with on the finger
board skateboards. He has a gray suit, yellow belt and of course blue cape and
cowl, BUT he does not have any logos to get them in legal trouble. These are
hard to find but if you look around they can be found at Target, Wal-Mart etc.
The second item is a resin head I found on E-bay. It will be used on a G.I. Joe
body to make a custom 12" Batman.

This is one I've been trying to get for a while. It is the Legends of Batman
2 figure set with of course Batman & Catwoman. The Batman figure is the same
as the FAO Swartz figures except this one is black instead of blue. The
Catwoman is GREAT, I love the sculpt and the articulation is decent. I wish the
arms bent a little more but it's OK. The last two pictures here are Catwoman
with my favorite 12" Batman and his bike. "Chicks dig bikes!"

Some recent additions. These were found on e-bay and I managed to get
them both for a great price. The figures are the same except for the shade of
blue and the faces have a different expression. The poses are adjustable by a
cam type deal on the back.

A great addition to the collection. I found this at a Flea Market
recently and believe it or not the cards and game pieces are still
sealed.

When I was a kid, some of my favorite toys were my Mego superheroes and the
best one of those was my Batman. Unfortunately my old figures are long gone, but
thanks to E-bay and Dr. Mego I was able
to find an old figure and restore him. I'm working on recreating all the old
costumes Batman has worn through the years. You can see this process on my Bat-Mego
Page and also I'll pass on info about what's gone right and what hasn't. If you
need any reproduction parts for your Mego check out Dr.
Mego's website.

This is an album that I got when I was really young, unfortunately the
record disappeared somewhere over the years and all I have left is the cover.
I've been looking but haven't found another one of these anywhere. If you see a
copy let me know please.
This figure is from the Batman Masterpiece Edition. It came with a cool book
about Batman's history and a reproduction of Batman #1. The figure is very nice
and even has wires in the ribs of the cape to make it stay spread out like it is
in the picture. I did change the belt on this figure because I think the
original one is out of scale for him.
These Batman figures are from the history of Batman 3 figure set that was
originally sold at FAO Swartz for over a hundred dollars, but thanks to E-bay
(again) I got it for less than half that. The 3 figures are the one shown on the
bike that represents the Dick Sprang era of art. The other bright blue one
represents the seventies and I guess the third is from the eighties but I don't
think the colors match anything I've seen. The cool thing about these figures is
that the chest bats are embroidered.

This is the third figure from the FAO Swartz set kicking a generic figure I
had laying around.

These three pictures are of some of my smaller Batman figures. The left pic
has the two variants of the new JLA figure, the small figure is from the animated
series. The middle pic has one of the Hasbro Batman and Batgirl figures and an old
Riddler I found at a flea market for 50 cents, and the last pic is of a two
figure set I got at KB toys recently on sale for $7. If you hunt around you can
still find some good deals

Both of these were E-bay finds. The pen holder I picked up for around $10,
but the REAL deal was the Golden age statue that I somehow managed to get for
$1. I think that figure retailed for $35, so it just goes to show that with a
little luck and patience you can get good stuff on a budget.

The left picture is the Target set that came with a Black Batman and a
business suit and different head to make him into Bruce Wayne. He has the belt
from the Masterpiece Batman because I stole his belt to make the one I like
better look the best. The right picture is a set of vinyl Batman and Robin
figures. Batman is approximately 14" tall and neither one will stand on its
own, but at least the sculpting is cool
